| are blurbs better than lengthy entries? i'm not sure. is written language coming down to abbreviations and acronyms?
i'm not sure if (granted that trend continues), is a bad thing. sometimes i think verbosity doesn't have a place anywhere anymore. every teacher i've ever had always focuses on getting to the point whether it was in writing or human speech. i think writing is kind of like walking. taking a direct route to where you need to go is always a good idea and efficient but on the rare occasions when we aren't in a hurry, it's nice to take the long way.
i probably shouldn't do this when walking to classes every day. (especially in the winter).
but on a side note: i'm super psyched now that i heard ben folds is coming to uconn. i better start saving my pennies for that. feel free to give me two your two cents. hehe
